Divus P, often simply referred to as DIVUS, is a music producer hailing from New York. In 2013, he started his journey through a music production course in high school. Since then, he began to invest more into his career and started to connect with other creatives.

In 2018, Divus became more involved within the music industry and was soon able to earn his first major label placement and first major single on Trouble’s “Thug Luv” album through the help of Ducko McFli from EarDrummers and the prolific A&R Baby Shad. The song, which was titled “All My N*ggaz”, received an official music video release on October 2nd, 2020.

In 2022, Divus began his Web3 journey and has been able to collaborate with various artists and communities within the space including The Outsider Collective as well as Future Surf Radio.

In early 2024, Divus released his debut single titled “BIG DAWG” which featured the Florida rapper and artist, Rick Brown. In addition, the Virginia rapper, artist, director and radio host, Cam Murdoch, released his single titled “BACK ALIVE” in January 2024, which featured production from Divus himself. The single itself serves as a teaser for the upcoming collaboration project titled “BIG DIVIDENDS”, which is expected to be released later in the year.

In March 2024, Divus formed ALL MY FRIENDS ARE LEGENDS LLC which serves as a major extension to the business endeavors of the New York based music producer and songwriter.

In May 2024, Divus P received significant attention and acclaim from the advertising & marketing company, SymphonyOS, who are known for their successful campaigns for major acts including SZA & Republic Records, 21 Savage, Future and Summer Walker. The company performed a detailed case study on Divus‘ “BIG DAWG” single release and focused on his successful marketing strategy and praised his ability in discovering and targeting the right audience for his music. The report was made readily available on their official website and in their newsletters.

Divus primarily uses Native Instruments’ Maschine software for a majority of his production. However, he also regularly uses Ableton Live 11 for vocal production, song arrangement, mixing and precise sampling. In terms of hardware, Divus currently owns a Maschine Studio drum machine as well as an AKAI MPK49.
